It’s the start of the year, and one of the most important things is to begin how you mean to go on.
From day one, I begin my classroom routine, especially for Daily 5.
The last few years I’ve been relying on a Powerpoint found on Pinterest to introduce and explain Daily 5 to my new class.
This year I decided to make my own, taking aspects from this powerpoint, but also adding my own things, and truncating some of the information to keep up with the declining attention span of my students.
Feel free to use this as you begin your journey into Daily 5.
